We care about and are committed to advancing publicly funded education in Canada.

The Learning Partnership is a national charitable organization dedicated to building stakeholder partnerships to support, promote and advance publicly funded education in Canada.  We do this through five key deliverables - innovative student programs, executive leadership for educators, knowledge mobilization and policy, tribute celebrations of excellence and ongoing collaborations across Canada.  Since 1993, more than 6.5 million students have participated in one or more of our The Learning Partnership's programs.

Publicly funded education is the foundation of a strong, prosperous and civil society. It gives ALL children the ability to reach their potential and fully participate in a fair and equitable society. Publicly funded education provides our children and youth with the skills and abilities necessary to succeed in an increasingly complex world. The students of today are the citizens and workforce of tomorrow. They are our future entrepreneurs, leaders and visionaries who will lead Canada forward.

We build strong collaborations to discover gaps, find solutions, ideate new directions, initiate actions, evaluate performance, share information and research trends. Together we celebrate successes of students and teachers, and together we honour extraordinary leaders who have dedicated themselves to continually striving to make Canada’s public education system the best in the world.

The Learning Partnership was founded in 1993 to build important bridges between leaders in education and leaders in business. That goal remains at the foundation of our work today as we strive to collaborate with stakeholders in education, business, government, labour and community organizations across Canada.

YES, it does take a
village to raise a child

...and that means a community of adults caring for all children and the future of Canada. For The Learning Partnership, this means collaborating with communities across Canada to invest in our publicly funded education system today, so tomorrow can bring an even brighter future for our economy, for our society, for our citizens and for Canada’s standing on the world stage.
